The Barber Room
Shows how a two-chair barbershop can take bookings around the clock and run the whole day from one screen.

The brief
A concept built to answer a question many small barbershops have: can we stop taking bookings by phone in the middle of a cut? The fictional shop has two chairs in Kypseli, Athens. Customers book from their phone; the barbers manage the day without a paid booking platform.
What I built
A booking site and an admin dashboard on one Cloudflare Worker. The homepage leads with the next free slot. Booking takes four steps: service, barber, time, details, with sign-up or sign-in inside the flow. In the dashboard the barber sees the day by chair, opens any customer, cancels bookings and blocks out breaks or whole days off.
Key features
- Next free slot shown on the homepage, bookable in one tap
- Four-step booking from a phone, with barber selection
- Accounts created inside the booking flow, where customers can see or cancel bookings
- Day view by chair, with the customer in the chair now
- Block a time, a break or a whole day off
- English and Greek, with the choice remembered
Tech notes
- Cloudflare Workers with static assets and a D1 database: one Worker, one deploy for both sides
- Automated tests with node --test and an HTTP smoke test
- A no-server preview that runs the real UI against a fake in-browser API
- No online payment, by design: customers pay in the shop
